Over-all Description: You can always find Ryan wearing a hoodie, or a shirt with the collar sticking up. His hoodies always have something on them, as in words, logos, etc., and he usually wears the hood over his head. Ryan follows his own style, he dresses like he wants to dress like and he does whatever he wants to do to himself. If there's a dresscode against some stuff he likes to wear, he'll wear them anyway because he believes that what he wears reflects who he is, and if he didn't wear what he wanted, people wouldn't understand him as well as they may.
Ry has brown hair, and brown eyes. The only time when he has facial hair is whenever he grows a slight stipple or something, in which he usually shaves. He stands about 5 foot, 8 inches tall and has a bit of a muscular figure, decorated with many tattoos on his arms, neck, and stomach.
He tends to experiment with his hair a lot. Sometimes he'll dye it a different color, like red, blue, orange, etc. When he does, though, he usually just dyes his bangs that color. If he doesn't like the color, he'll change it back to it's natural color. Occasionally he applies eyeliner to his eyes(doh), but that's only when he's not out of it or isn't too lazy.
Like I've said, Ryan doesn't care about what people think about his style, or what people think he should wear. He follows his own rules, his own style. When people do insult it, he just ignores them and lets them go on about it, because he knows what they think isn't worth the time, or they don't look in the mirror when they dress.
Personality: Ryan Kinwood is the type of guy who just likes to be laid back and have a good time. He'll do anything to entertain someone and make them happy, and he's not afraid to take a chance, or a dare. He loves to laugh and loves to joke around. Other peoples' happiness matters a lot to him - he hates to see his friends, or even people he doesn't know, sad. He'll usually stop by and talk to them, then take them out for a good time.
Ryan loves to party. He's a party animal, actually. He just loves to get out there and have a good time, no matter what people say. Which brings me to something else. Ryan doesn't care what other people think about him and what he thinks about other subjects. It's his opinion that counts, not theirs. He's not afraid to stand up for his rights and can usually be found in detention for breaking rules or something. He means to follow the rules, really, he does - it's just sometimes he thinks maybe they should have a few exceptions.
This may sound a little girly, but Ryan can be very sweet and romantic. He likes to spoil his sweethearts, honey buns, gal, whatever you want to call them, with flowers, candies - whatever they want, and loves to show people a good time.
When angered, or jealous, Ryan can become very aggressive in an instant. He is not the kind to follow rules. When he happens to be angered, which may take a lot at times, his voice starts to raise - which may be frightening, because Ryan isn't the type to yell at someone - and very hurtful things may slip out of his mouth. Of course, this tends to lead to violence if he gets any more angry. Ry is a tough guy, though, and he may appear to be scary to a lot of people when his temper rises. You can usually find him in detention a lot, from fighting, to speaking too bluntly in class, or badmouthing someone.
Family && History: Family:
- A younger sister, Genae
- His parents, Gregory and Kay Kinwood
- Aunt Kelly
History:
Ryan Allen Kinwood was born on January the Seventeenth in New York City. He lived in a house which was located in the heart of the city. Of course, this was a bit dangerous because of gangs, murderers, etc., but his parents kept him well protected. Well, they're mother did anyway. Ryan's father worked as a psychiratrist in a building down the street, and was usually very busy and never seemed to be home. Infact, he missed the day Ryan lost his first tooth. Unlike most parents, Gregory(the father) didn't seem to mind. When his mother began to explain to him how important it was, he'd just sigh and mumble 'He just lost a tooth, Kay, it's nothing that big. Would you rather me forget about all my patients with problems, and just let them go off and do something stupid?'. Ryan had no idea what was going on, though.
When he was seven, a new baby was born into the family, Genae. Like all other older siblings, Ryan was jealous of her because he wasn't the baby anymore, she was, and she got a lot of the attention. He used to sit in a corner and pout to get attention, but his father would always reply 'Ryan Allen, wipe that pout off your face and go take a bath'. Operation Attention failed.
His parents started to argue a lot more often about jobs, children, etc., and soon they were signing divorce papers. Kay had decided to let Gregory have the children, which left Ryan completely confused. Why didn't she want them? Did Greg force her to? Did she just not love them anymore? Or was she completely insane? The thoughts were endless for days. After saying bye, they never spoke to eachother again. She didn't call. Or, if she did call, Greg wouldn't tell him.
It was horrible, living with his father. Kay was the only one who could keep the family together, and now she was gone. They didn't have pizza night anymore, they didn't go to parks or the movies, and Greg was gone more then usual. He began to come home very late at night, and sometimes Ryan could definitley tell he hadn't been with his patients. He could tell that he was deeply drunk, because he'd usually take a bottle of beer out from the fridge immediatley(which made his breath reke even more), sit on the couch, watch some T.V., and fall asleep.
So for a couple of years Ryan lived under the 'care'(if you could call if that) of his father. Until, one day when he was 13, their aunt Kelly had come to rescue them. She took them away to her house where they lived under her care(which was, I'm happy to say, good). Of course, there were a lot of court sessions and even more papers to sign, but they had won.
Ryan got his first tattoo when he was 15, and in his freshmen year of highschool. Kelly was never very happy about this, and Ryan's attitude would always remind her that she wasn't his mom. Of course, Ryan was very generous for her kindness, but when Ryan got annoyed words seemed to slip out that he really didn't mean to say.
At age 16 Ryan found out about Hogwarts and how it would help him learn more about his this whole 'wizarding' thing. It was strange, having to leave all his 'muggle friends'(as he heard that that was what muggles were called) and starting a sixth year at Hogwarts.
Now he is seventeen and is in his seventh year of Hogwarts. He isn't having too much fun so far. Of course, Ryan never really liked Hogwarts anyway. Too many cliques, rules(which he doesn't follow), and expectations. Too much like highschool..and, not so much like highschool. He's doing fine though, and all he wants to do at this point is graduate so he can find his mother and wonder out into that big, brave world some people call reality.
